“You’ve Left Me Nothing” is the new single by Deer MX, released on November 22, 2024. Deer MX is a Mexican duo based in Hong Kong made up of Adriana Martínez and Miguel Bastida. This is the second in a series of releases that is a triptych of songs inspired by the AI phenomenon in contemporary humanity. The music and lyrics talk about the resignation of a generation that is observing the deviation of technology into an unknown path. The single features Alfonso Rosales (drums) and Peter Enderberg of the Hong Kong band Diamond 6 (guitar). It will include a remix
by the Chiang Mai-based UK artist IN-NO-V8 (other remix credits include Mira Morningstar, EXPLOHR).
Artwork is by the innovative digital and visual artist Dispense Usted, who has also collaborated with other Mexican artists including Rey Pila, Pato Machete, Akil Ammar, among others.
